…is alive in LA! Or atleast it was last night :)

Got to celebrate the amazing Andy Barron last night by performing along side him(filled with lots of dope members!) in our 90s cover band! It was super rad, dude!

I haven’t written on this thing in so long it’s actually out of control…

Since i’ve written, many things have happened..the most important being.. I GOT ENGAGED! To my soul mate and best friend in the entire world :)

Another highlight just happened recently…

I released my latest single “Let me in again”! I wrote this song about 3 years ago now and it’s so hysterical to look back and see the emotions you were feeling at that time…that’s one thing I love so much about songwriting… you’re left with a musical photograph..one that is extremely descriptive and emotional.

I’ve been sick in bed all this week and it has given me far too much time to watch reality tv, eat junk food and think.

It’s crazy the things your mind can come up with when you’re alone for too long…insecurities , self pity, loneliness… To name a few.

When I look back at all the times I’ve wasted thinking such negative thoughts I realize that it all comes down to the innate selfishness we all have inside. All the negative things we feel are only lies and attacks and truly a part of our own selfishness. If we could just look outside of ourselves and love others we might be able to love ourselves… As imperfect as we all are. We were created the way we are for a reason!

I decided to write down a list of the things that I was feeling and it’s actually insane the horrific things we can come up with about ourselves… I encourage you to do the same and then to cross those “thoughts” out and match them with truths! A way in which God would describe you…

You are beautiful; enough; gifted beyond compare, and loved :)

It’s been 2 weeks since we last spoke…I don’t want that to length to come between us again! A lot has happened in the past 2 weeks for all of us.. I’ll go first!

I played at the bowery ballroom this past monday and oh man it was best show experience ever! I love everyone that came out SO much! Opening for my brothers was the greatest treat and I pray I can do it a million more times!!

Yesterday was my bday and I have to say I could not be been more blessed by those that wrote me on twitter! You truly made my bday SO special!

It was the first birthday I had had in the city for a LONG time, so that was super dope! I got bfast with my bro and mom walked around a lot with my mama and got gluten free cupcakes and went to church and had a show! :)

It’s getting late and I’m trying to wind down and go to sleep so naturally it’s time to blog…

I went to the fairfax flee market with my lovely friend Chloe and finally bought these shorts that i’ve been wanting for years after trying on 7 other pairs..I also tried on doc martens and still am debating whether or not I can actually own them…important decisions :p

I wanted to take a picture INSIDE the frame of the bed but the people who owned the furniture were staring at me so I just ended up looking awkwardly at the bed and at one point pretending to drink out of my drink that contained no more liquid…cool!

The best part of my day was definitely church though <3 The lord speaks so much through reality LA…it blows my mind! I just wanna honor God all ways and always :)
